Nanny Brokers Placement Process


Become a Nanny Brokers Member
  • To become a  Nanny Brokers Member, go to our Membership page and click
    on the Membership Application .

  • There is an application that gives us information about your family and what
    you are looking for in a nanny. When you complete the application submit to
    us by email or fax, the website will take you to a payment page to pay the
    $50.00 Membership fee.

Details of Your Position
  • A Nanny Brokers representative will call you right away to go over the
    details of your position (i.e. Start date, schedule, what you are offering to
    pay, duties you will expect of your nanny, qualities you look for in a nanny,
    and any special notes/requirements).
  • Nanny Brokers email's the details of your position to the per-screened
    nannies who meet the criteria described in your position details.
  • Nannies respond back to Nanny Brokers with an interest in your position.
    You will be provided with Nanny Overview Documents on all the candidates
    that are interested in your position , this will provide all the Candidates
    experience and contact information.

Interview Nanny Candidates
  • You will arrange times for the nanny candidates to come to your home so
    you can meet and interview them yourself. The overview sheet is a nice tool
    to use at the interview so you can ask each nanny candidate about her
    previous child care experience, education background, and responses to the
    narratives.
  • It is Nanny Brokers  goal to have families meet between 3-5 nanny
    candidates during the placement process. The number of candidates you  
    meet is based on the competitiveness of your position and the response
    Nanny Brokers  receives from our nanny candidates.
Select Your Nanny
  • When you meet a nanny you would like to hire, let Nanny Brokers
    know, and we will call the nanny and let her know that she has been offered
    the position ,the hourly rate/weekly salary you are offering and all
    particulars of your position.
  • Note: Nanny Brokers recommends that families give a pay range in your
    initial position description (i.e. $12-$15/hour, based on experience). When
    you select a nanny, you let Nanny Brokers know what you are offering that
    specific nanny.
Employment Contract
  • Upon acceptance from the nanny, Nanny Brokers will put together an
    employment contract, based on the details we know about your position. We
    then email it to you and ask you to make any changes you would like, as the
    employment contract is a tool for your family to outline the details of your
    position. This is a signed and agreed upon by the Family as well as the
    Nanny
Payment of Agency Fee
  • The agency fee for a Part-Time Nanny Placement is $475.00
  • The agency fee for a Full-Time Nanny Placement is $850.00
  • LIVE In Placements $3,000


Nanny Brokers will mail you an invoice after the employment contract.  
The agency fee includes the Employment Contract, and a One Year Replacement  
Guarantee.
